21st Century skills/ Tony Wagner

In class we watched a video on Tony Wagner that was called 21^st Century Skills.  He is the author of the book Achievement Gap that some of us are reading in class.  He has a list of seven skills students need for the future in order to succeed. 

1. Critical Thinking and Problem Solving
2. Leading by Influence/ Collaboration
3. Agility and Adaptability
4.  Initiative and Entrepreneurialism
5. Affective Oral Writing Communication Skills
6. Accessing and Analyzing Information
7. Curiosity and Imagination   

After hearing the list of skills that Tony Wagner talks about, I would have to agree that students need for the future.  I don’t think many schools today teach these skills and schools need to be changing with time.
